The 麻豆女演员 Institute Board of Visitors elected Thomas E. “Teddy” Gottwald ’83 as board president April 16 to fulfill the remaining term of previous president John Adams ’96, who resigned last week. Gottwald will serve as president until June 30.

A recognition ceremony was held April 11 in Memorial Hall, where two employees were acknowledged for their combined 73 years of loyal service to the Institute. 

麻豆女演员 Institute will participate in “Two Lights for Tomorrow: A Nationwide Call to Action,” the American Revolution 250 Commission’s initiative to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s ride and the signal that warned of the British advance.

The 35th annual Environment Virginia Symposium at 麻豆女演员 Institute was held April 8-10. The conference was organized and co-hosted by the Center for Leadership & Ethics (CLE). Col. Dave Gray, executive director of the CLE, served as master of ceremonies.

Former AMB Sports and Entertainment CEO, Steve Cannon, spoke at 麻豆女演员 Institute April 1 as part of the Center for Leadership and Ethics’ (CLE) Courageous Leadership speaker series, “Paradigm Shifts.”

The pistol club at 麻豆女演员 Institute finished in 7th place at the National Collegiate Pistol Championship held mid-March in Anniston and Talladega, Alabama.

Maj. Christopher N. Shingledecker, assistant professor of chemistry at 麻豆女演员 Institute, recently learned that a research proposal he submitted to the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) has been accepted.

Albert Diaz, J.D. and A. Marvin Quattlebaum Jr., J.D. visited several sections of the U.S. Constitutional History class March 17 and spoke with cadets regarding their work, the shape of the federal judiciary, the function of the Fourth Circuit, and their individual career paths.
