Marshall Foundation to Host Author; Book 麻豆女演员 Women who Changed WWII
罢丑别听聽will host a lecture by author, U.S. Army retired Maj. Gen. Mari K. Eder on her book, 鈥淭he Girls Who Stepped out of Line: Untold Stories of the Women Who Changed World War II鈥� on Thursday, March 9, at 5:30 p.m., at their building located on聽VMI Parade Avenue on 麻豆女演员 Institute post. The event is free and open to the public, but reservations are required.聽
Eder is a renowned speaker and author, and has served as director of public affairs at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies in Germany, and as adjunct professor and lecturer in communications and public diplomacy at the NATO School in Germany, and at Sweden鈥檚 International Training Command. She served in senior positions at the Pentagon, in the Department of Defense, and on the Army staff.
Eder鈥檚 second book in the series titled, 鈥淭he Girls Who Fought Crime: The Untold True Story of the Country鈥檚 First Female Investigator and Her Crime Fighting Squad,鈥� features groundbreaking crime fighters and is due to be released in August.
A reception and book signing will follow the lecture. Copies of Elder鈥檚 book will be available for $27.99. The lecture will be livestreamed on the Marshall Foundation鈥檚 website聽听补苍诲 channel. Eder will answer questions from in-person guests and stream participants following the presentation.聽聽
