Lacrosse achieves USILA All-Academic Team status

After an exciting first season under the helm of Taylor Mendoza, the VMI lacrosse team continues to excel academically after being named a USILA All-Academic team, the organization announced in early July.

The team boasts a 3.29 team GPA, easily surpassing the required 3.0 team GPA requirement.

VMI was one of five Northeast Conference schools to achieve the status alongside Cleveland State, Mercyhurst, Robert Morris and Detroit Mercy.

A total of 43 Division I schools were recognized on the list.
