Dr. Lu is an Assistant Professor of Chinese at 麻豆女演员 Institute. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Chinese Linguistics. Her research interests include teaching Chinese as a second language, prosody, interface between language and music, and second language acquisition. Before joining VMI, Dr. Lu taught at Wake Forest University, College of William and Mary, University of Iowa, and Luther College. At VMI, she teaches all levels of Chinese language classes and culture classes.
